This summer, rising 1st-8th grade students are strongly encouraged to complete the IXL Summer Boost Math Skill Plans.
Summer Skill Plans will help students avoid the “summer slide” by reviewing essential skills for the upcoming grade level.
In order to access these activities, please follow these instructions:
Students should log in to IXL.com using their regular username and password.
**It is critical that the student log in or he/she will be in “trial mode” and will not have access to all activities.**
Students should then select “Learning” in the green menu bar.
Choose “Math” and, just below that, “Skill Plans.”
Once on the Skill Plan page, scroll down to the section called “IXL Summer Boost Math.”
Students should choose the grade level they will enter in August (i.e. rising 6th graders select grade 6).
There are a total of 20 days worth of activities (4-five day weeks). Students are encouraged to complete all activities by August 1st with a Smart Score at or above 80.
